I live on the lands of the Bundjalung Nation.  Their ancestors held sovereignty for many thousands of years.  British settlers took the land away and robbed the people of their culture, connection, customs and country.  I pay my respects to the elders of the past, to those who hold custodianship now, and those who are emerging.  I commit to working for justice, to building a better understanding of the painful stories and the impacts known today.  I stand for the lives of all to hold dignity, respect and honour as people created in the image of God - of Creator Spirit.  May we work and walk together as First and Second Peoples.
