I had a headache, felt horribly uncomfortable, my hands were continuously gritty feeling and I simply couldn't wait to get on the plane and come home. Melbourne. . . . I was reflecting on the horrible discomfort. It is a place that is quite foreign in the Australian scene. The buildings are different, the humm of the people on the streets is different. I just couldn't put on a finger on it, but the discomfort came because it felt so different to anywhere else I spend time in this country. |
Suddenly the disparity often noticed in the circles I move in, became obvious. No wonder so much of the disconnect exists. It is a place disconnected from the rest. . . . . well for me it seems that way.
