Light will always shine in the dark. Even when the shadow seems greater, bigger, more consuming, it will never ever consume light. I am conscious of those travelling on difficult roads this day. Some are waiting by a loved one, their last breaths are coming close. Some are holding pain of loss, the shadow and weight of grief sits not far beneath the surface. Some struggle to rise to meet the day. Some are unsure of the love that once sat between them. |
Light shines in this darkness. It may seem low, it may seem lost in its singularness. It may not illuminate a nearby path. But it still shines.
For all who face a difficult day today, this is my prayer for you, that somewhere you will see that light, and know that you are being held in the difficult day.
