My Dad has a knack of telling stories well. Whenever we've gone up Mt Beerburrum, he's happily told our kids again the dreaming story of the Glasshouse Mountains. Our children make all sorts of connections from this story telling. Ones we can't orchestrate. We open up the learning space, and they jump right in. This was highlighted for me a weekend or two ago as some local Tasmanian aboriginal culture was shared. |
What if we came to sharing our faith this way? What if we opened up the space for kids, and adults, to make all sorts of connections that we can't orchestrate?
This is the stuff of faith formation - and it happens anywhere, anytime, anyhow . . . . with anyone.
