I have for the last few hours, listened to one form of outburst or another. I have for the last however many umpteen years been listening to one form of outburst or another. I have long said, if our children could fight over the air that someone else will breath, they will. . . . and they do! Parents, this gig is tough! Really tough. It wears us down like nobody's business. I'm sure it was a part of my wall hitting a few years ago. |
If there is nothing more we can do in a day but find our way to keep our sanity, then we have done well. Mine is the purple blanket under a tree in the backyard (or warm sunny spot by a large window). Riding my bike, taking some photos, and a few minutes here and there of unhitched brain time. To breathe for a moment, just take a deep breath and focus on it, let it out. They are my saving God moments in this crazy task of being a Mum.
For all the parents out there who are locked in the crazy task with me, may you find your sanity breathing God moments that can keep you going . . . . Here's to the tears!! NOT!!!!!!
